Sure they do. They could keep Thibs. They probably should anyway.

I guess at least 3 teams are interested. Apparently you don't know how competitive bidding works.

thibs is done here...bringing him back would be disastrous

those teams are already downplaying interest...Pelicans are looking at Alvin Gentry and Magic have said their interest is "overstated" this is gonna be a long drawn out thing...which may or may not get anywhere

Right now as it stands:
Bobby Portis
Jordan Mickey
Jarrell Martin

Are three that I'd target at 22 if they're there.

Guys in the draft I'd consider trading up for: Tyus Jones, Justise Winslow, Trey Lyles, & Devin Booker.

A torn meniscus which has been repaired.

Nothing like an ACL or even MCL injury. Plus his game is not based on extreme athleticism and driving ability.

Athletes get injured, they rehab and they get back to it. Bulls could draft a guy who tears his ACL in summer league action.

When a really youn guy has undeniable talent to shoot and score the basketball, you go get him. Especially late in the rounds.

Take a chance Bulls.

I think people need to be prepared for anything. If they're parting with Thibs, they might also be willing to part with other players and move up.

And remember the reports that said the Bulls would love to trade Rose? Well he played well against the Cavs for the most part. This might give them the chance to sell high assuming that was correct in the first place.

Btw, it's also a little hard to believe that there's not some team out there needing a guy who can create his own shot. The Celtics are an example of this.

Nobody on the roster should have a guaranteed spot next season. Butler included.

Sorry but this really isn't practiceable.

For sure, Butler cannot be replaced. I'd say that he is more valuable right now than Rose for this team. It is a must that they re-sign Butler and to say that he shouldn't have a guaranteed spot next season, is pretty silly.

I'm thinking that the Bulls take a 3 or 2 with 22.

Right now, I have the Bulls taking Robert Upshaw, a center from Washington. We need some young blood at the position due to the unknown futures of Gibson and Noah.

he wanted him at Iowa State aswell

Bulls have been working out a ton of 2nd rounders though....and we don't even have a 2nd round pick

makes me think they are gonna package Noah or Taj along with our first for a starting wing+2nd rounder

I don't think he makes it to the 2nd round. Take him with the 22nd pick.

How about this?

  • Draft Robert Upshaw at 22
  • Trade Noah for a team's second round pick this year (Between #31-#36) and their future first round pick
  • Draft Rashad Vaughn (or Andrew Harrison) with the second round pick

Not only did this shed salary by trading Noah, it also got us our potential starting center for the future and a potentially valuable role player at the least.

We also have a boat load of future second rounders we could trade for a second rounder if a guy we liked. Even a Barstow could yield back a late second. Due diligence is nothing to be concerned with.

Nobody is giving up two draft picks for Noah.
