Jimmy Butler was never going to be that cheap. Ever. Ever see Ben Wallace's contract? He couldn't score.

well its not so much as how much he would get but how much i thought he was worth

last year he was no better than Tony Allen and TA only makes 5m

i was wrong on that...but to my credit players making that much improvement is unheard of

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
1. Game 3 prayer off the backboard(if regular season, OKC and Twaun's 3.)
2. Rose's third knee surgery
3. 54pt win(if RS, then that last game against Miami when we went on that 30-something -8 run to come back.)
4. Melo would be the Bulls SG.
5. Butler

Surprised to not see more answers to number 5 being "inconsistent"

Tony Allen also signed in 2013...after averaging 9.8 ppg and shooting a wonderful 12.5% from the 3 point line. Jimmy Butler always had better stats than Allen. Butler had also only completed his 3rd season, NBA players have this leverage of untapped potential in the early years that can usually earn them more money if they "show" promise, which Butler still was.

In any sense I saw 8-10 million/ year fair for Butler before last season.

Reading all the number 4's is the best part of this thread.

1. Big Win over Houston.
2. Any baffling lose to a lottery team/not showing up to game 6
3. Game 6 buzzer beater.
4. All the IGT hysteria
5. Typical
