Sat, May 23 - Arrieta (4-4) vs De La Rosa (4-2)
Sun, May 24 - Hammel (3-1) vs Hellickson (1-3)

Sorry it's not all fancy but had a family graduation to go to and saw no one else posted one.

So.... is it just me or is Soler's .266/.333/.392 triple slash the quietest .333 OBP. I thought he was slumping recently and looked at the box score tonight to see he's still hitting well. In a normal year that would probably seem more impressive. Guess it's just the gravity of Bryant sucking away attention.

He is a rookie and his arm in RF can shut down aggressive runners. The hitting will come around.

"Quality starts" can be misleading but that's the 6th straight one for Lester

doesn't feel like the offense will be able to come up with a 3rd run tonight though...they've been quiet for a while now

Well what i meant was given the lack of talk about him I would have expected someone hitting worse than that. I was surprised to see he was still well above your average MLB hitter.

The knock on him now is all the strikeouts. .

He makes contact its usually a hit but he been striking out a ton on those breaking balls away.

They lose this one, itll be another tough lost.
Another solid start with no hitting to back it up

Lot of hard hit balls hit at them though early on..
Russell, top of order has to do some damage here. .
Bryant needs a hit to keep his streak going

Yeah realize that. I guess I was just surprised he was still hitting that well despite those issues. I miss most of the CSN games but the games I do tend to catch it doesn't feel like he's hit well in. Probably just a bad selection.

Feel like all these close games are a plus for the young guys. Probably as close as you can get to playoff baseball without actually being playoff baseball..

Eh, its baseball. I do like it just cause we are always in it. The Orioles of a couple of years ago ring a bell with this team for the close games. They went something like 39-1 or something ridiculous like that.
