Yes thats easy to say, but NBA seasons are long and the body only gets older and more brittle.

Stiles is officially the coach of the Magic now. Bet he will like coaching his former tesm. Wonder how Elfrids development will now go with Stiles as the coach.

Alvin Gentry will be the Pelicans new head coach.

Thibs will not be coaching next season barring an unexpected firing.

Joe Cowley per NBA.com says maybe he'll go to NY next year and get some GM power like Doc Rivers. LA is another possibility.

Either way, kind of crazy to think of him as unemployed for a year. Well...maybe not for us.

If teams are smart at this moment they kinda see the overplayed players aspect of it scaring teams away at the moment.

I don't see Phil Jackson giving up any power in NY for Thibs though.

Can somebody start a rumors where Hinrich magically declined his player option, the Bulls find somebody to take Noah's corpse... I mean expiring deal.... and they're somehow able to convince Jimmy Butler to sign for less than the max, all while coercing Robin Lopez and DeMarre Carroll to wiggle their way into the payroll without going into the tax?

Please?

Rumor: Kirk Hinrich to retire; give up player option. "Its time for me to leave the game as I'm just too crippled to keep going. So I'm going to leave a couple million on the table to retire."

Rumor: Noah rumored in numerous deals to various teams.

Rumor: Jimmy Butler to sign for nothing but the max because he deserves the max.
