Meh he's not nearly as bad as everyone makes him out to be and as long as he's not playing large chunks of minutes like Thibs had him doing, then I'm totally fine with it. He's a quality back up. And look at the bright side, after next season he'll just be signing vet mins until he retires, though I suspect people would still bitch and moan even if he was signed for $40.00/year.

There is simply no reason as to why Kirk Hinrich should have been given a player option...If anything it should have been a team option.
