I'm thrilled about this

I loved Desjardins, can't believe he only got a $50,000 raise after the way he finished. Pumped to have him back

His agent said he took "Far less to say, he loves it here".

Only $800k? Love this move. The type of depth guy that you need.

Really glad to hear this. Especially if it means less Nordstrom, but either way he's a good forth liner for the team. That line had many really good shifts in the playoffs.

For some moments, despite really liking it I was thinking how it will hurt some role chances for Danualt-Ross-McNeil-Hartman N such, but really it also has a benefit for them. As opportunities they will be could happen to fit more along roles different from the Hawks shutdown role. Still depends on what final pieces are in place

Is Sharp traded yet?

Now that Desjardins is back in the fold, so to speak, Stan can start talking to Sharp s(h)uitors, so to speak.

Actually, though, good move. Glad he's back. Had an excellent playoffs.

That was obvious in his on-ice interview after the cup win. He had nothing but great things to say about his teammates and coaches.

Just got home from the golf course, saw that Dej@&#dins was back on board. NICE!

Great move but they sure are amassing a shit load of talent for a team well over the cap.

I was very happy to hear that he turned down bigger contracts from 4 other teams to stay here.

Accoriding to the associated press, the Chicago Blackhawks sent Morin to Rockford in a corresponding salary move.

I'm happy to have him back, especially at that price... what a steal.

Now sign Kruger so we can keep that 4th line (really, the 3rd line) in tact.
