Cauphlin fifth rounder a couple years ago.

But in the British Columbia league he was about .85 points per game last year in 60 game. 19 goals and 28 assists I think.

He also had 70 penalty minutes, so a little edge, walking the line.

6'2" 190. Probably a better chance to contribute the big club someday than Niilson.

Nelson plays for Ak Bar Kasan in Russia and so its just his rights.

He was a former 62nd pick, so its not that he has no value, but he left the NHL in 2013 after stints with Islander and Devils.


Never played for our system I don't think, I remember acquiring his rights, it was the Leddy deal.

He probably could have been worth something juicy if he came back.
