The Nationals are now only 1/2 a game behind the Giants. You have to wonder if they have a late run in them. A lot of games to make up but worth watching.

Maddon already announced that they are going to set up the rotation this week to pitch Arrieta for the playoff game.

What day would the play off game fall on? Maddon did say that he is lining Arrieta up for it. On top of that no one else would pitch game 1. So Lester and Arrieta have to flip. It makes perfect sense to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if they do that on the DH. They need to try and sweep that series vs give a game away.

WC game is set for the Wednesday after season
As it stands now with Arrieta pitching today he will be scheduled to pitch the Saturday game..
