Yeah man sorry dude, I used the loot I got from that drive and added some cash to buy a 1TB 850 Pro for $414.89 shipped.

1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD going for $279.99 at Microcenter now. But it's an in-store sale only. 500GB going for $144.99 and 250GB for $79.99. Damn, these prices have come down.

still to expensive imo. i cant see myself spending 300 dollars on a storage device when that could go towards other components. i guess if money was no concern whatsoever, then sure, fuck it, but for now small 128gb sdd for os at 45 bucks and large hdd for storage still seems like the best price to performance way to go.

but if your work demands the ability to transfer large quantities of data quickly, then it makes sense.

You get used to how fast things open. I don't think I could ever go back to a HDD for application files.
