Forte hasn't played near as long as Faulk has yet... if Matt is lucky enough to play out 12 seasons he very well me be high up on that list... and if his numbers are good why does it matter what side he runs to as long as he gets the job done.

Forte is naturally more of a galloper and a juker so open space running fits him better. He is not a small space, quick feet runner so will look out of his element when running inside.

I have to agree with this sentiment. He is no battle axe, but rather a finesse style running back and one of my favourites. It's difficult to even gauge how well he runs up the gut because he is utilized so much more in different situations. I think people tend to glamorise the smashmouth style anyways but that's just me.
