OK, suggesting he speaks to God, and God, by the contract he was offered, would tell him where to play was a little goofy/swarmy, but this is just irresponsible.

So, a product he is invested in, he now is claiming healed him from a head injury. Young kids look up to and listen to this guy and he is not stupid , so he is either straight up crazy or he is pimping out kids health for personal profit.

Russell Wilson says 'Recovery Water' helped heal him from head injury
Written By DeMario Phipps-Smith Posted: 08/26/2015, 01:48pm

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson recovers from injuries a little different from most NFL players.

What allows the Super Bowl winning QB to stay healthy is Recovery Water, Wilson said in a Rolling Stone interview.

Wilson claims the water, which he also invests in, caused his brain to recover from what could have been a serious injury. He took a big hit to the head from Packers linebacker Clay Matthews after throwing an interception in the NFC Championship Game, and he looked like he might have suffered a concussion.

However, Wilson managed to stay in the game and helped lead the Seahawks to a 28-22 overtime victory.

He said that the Recovery Water works so well that a teammate used the water to heal a knee injury. Despite his belief in its effects, Wilson admitted that he couldn’t prove the results.

From Rolling Stone:

“I banged my head during the Packers game in the playoffs, and the next day I was fine,” says Wilson. “It was the water.”

Rodgers offers a hasty interjection. “Well, we’re not saying we have real medical proof.”

But Wilson shakes his head, energized by the subject. He speaks with an evangelist’s zeal.

“I know it works.” His eyes brighten. “Soon you’re going to be able to order it straight from Amazon.”

Recover Water’s description on its website says, “When integrated into your active lifestyle, Recovery Water improves your body’s natural restoration process, which means less muscle soreness and fatigue. This superior water even heightens your sense of well-being, helping you stay sharp and focused for what lies ahead.”

Let’s see how healthy it keeps Wilson this year.

ND is horrible.
I picture IUdoc giving eye exams with Dan Bernstein playing in the office and him nodding over and over in agreement.

People are dumb enough to buy new cars for half their salaries or more right out of college when they should keep their junkers/buy a 10 yr old import compact and pay down their student loans.

A few bucks for miracle Jesus water is moronic, but well down the list of stupid purchases in my book.

He is just promoting his product. And it worked because most have never heard of it until now.

Promoting a product, suggesting it improves performance is one thing, suggesting it allows you to play on after a potential concussion is quite another.

I agree. But unfortunately, there are people out there stupid enough to buy it now because he said that. It's like the guy that sells his "old baseball cards" on Ebay claiming their "might be" a Mantle rookie card in there.... and some idiot buys the collection for 100 dollars.

I wish this was a public company. You know a bunch of Seattle fans will be buying up stock tomorrow. Good stock to flip.

Right, and if he had an M.D. or was a researcher on brain injuries who could reasonably be expected to be knowledgeable on the subject, I would be more apt to be angry. Some dumb jock tells me X product works and what, I just believe him and allow my child to play post-concussion based solely on that?

That's a stretch....caveat emptor.

So as long as really ignorant people are the victims of a scam, it's okay? :smh:

Promoting his product/ he's also a crazy religious lunatic. The amount of religious lunacy in the NFL is overwhelming but he is at the forefront, it seems.

Yeah, although he's not specified exactly what part of three body it improves, this would be something for the fda, ftc, or a competitor to look into.
