Well to put it into perspective, in Marshall's 4th game as a Bear he had 138 yards and a TD. He was in Denver for 4 years, Miami for 2 years, and Chicago for 3 years. History indicates that it takes time for Marshall to get frustrated and become a jerkface.

So if my math is correct, had Jeffery played the whole season, he would have 115 receptions, 185 targets, 1705 yards, and 10 TDs.

I had the projected number of games played by Jeffery wrong. Fixed. Rest of the numbers should still be correct.

I truly believe the Bears told Marshall they did not want him doing the show and he told them he was going to do it anyway. That is why he is gone. Trading him to the Jets was just a lucky break for him.

Yes. This tells the whole story. Marshall always getting a bad rap. It's not like we were the 3rd team that traded him or anything. He just yelled at a kicker and left the state on his day off. That's it.

Marshall makes tough catches in tough coverage time and time again, He may lead the league in drops, but only because his damn QB has complete faith in him and puts him in tough situations.

Aside from NB's point, you also show a lack of good knowledge about what is generally counted as a drop by those counting drops then too. Because tight coverage plays that are tough situations with an impressive reach or struggle to catch the ball are usually not counted as drops.
