The Mets are close to trading Jeff Francour to the Texas Rangers. He's still in the Mets lineup but his locker is being cleaned out right now. This is all per Jon Heyman od SI.com.

Thoughts? I like the trade for the Rangers as they contine to build one hell of a team with having no money. I think it's pretty much a dump for the Mets who don't want him anymore.

He finish the Mets game today and is ready to move on to Texas. I would think from reports.

The Mets needed to get rid of him. He sucked and the Mets need to rebuild. I feel bad for that fan base.
