The amount of ass this team pulls in a city like Chicago has to be unreal.

Rizzo, Bryant, Baez, Contreras, Arrieta, etc have to be just slaying strange. My buddies joke that you know the Cubs are back in town because there are a bunch of women walking around bow legged.

Oh for sure. Even the Hawks too. Just seeing hot chick after hot chick wear those sweaters like it's a fashion statement.

I told my wife, yeah go out with Baez. Maybe he will buy you something real nice. Then when he moves on to the next chick, you'll come back and we will have something to share.

I'd like to know what Baez has done that places him in that category for you? To me he is very tradeable.

Being the both the best offensive and defensive NL player in the 2016 postseason. Without his glove and bat, we are most likely saying again "wait till next year"

The only thing I found to be the least bit interesting in this whole ancient thread is that even 2 years ago, Omy was infatuated by Schwarber's weight.
It's a reoccurring problem for him

Schwarber might be on the block this offseason after another ehhh season with the bat...
Hitting .240s 44 RBI
Power good 20 HRs
OB good because of the walks .360

He not terrible like he was in 2017 for the most part but , i doubt this is what they envision numbers wise for Schwarber ..

Playing the IF game here...
IF they are interested in Harper and sign him and hold onto Heyward..

They go with Harper in left and Heyward in RF..
Schwarber a trade piece for pitching or near ready prospects

I'd keep Heyward over Schwarber, especially after Heyward found his bat. Despite the fact that I like both of them, Happ & Schwarber are 100% expendable to me. Everyone else, I'd prefer to keep. The Cubs infield defense is insanely good.

No one would take Heyward's contract anyway.
