haha yep! im a transplant....originally from Rockford, but ive moved all over. now in Memphis, tn and spend my summers in denali, ak.

FWIW, Miami didn't look very good last night...might have been an off night who knows, but they don't seem to have much "explosiveness" to them. wade is still crafty, but you can tell he takes parts of games off more or less....his body just doesn't let him do it anymore. bosh looked good shooting, but hes turned into a spot up shooter more or less now. whiteside had a couple nice blocks but other than that was a ghost on the court. any of you seen that tyler Johnson kid play for Miami though? I liked what I saw from him

for the grizz, they had a well rounded effort from gasol, zbo, and conley....but it was jeff green that seemed to get buckets in important moments of the game, had a ridiculous put back dunk late in the 4th quarter and he finished with somewhere around 16 and 8 for the game. would love to see him in a bulls uni

Man, awesome moment tonight for Kobe. Boston was chanting, "Kobe- Bryant". Then, they started chanting, "Kobe! Kobe! Kobe!". Man, my hats off to Boston. Thats a rough crowd and they showed their respect. I am loving Bryant's going away tour. Makes you appreciate how great he was for so long.

I saw that it was extremely loud to. At points the commentators got quiet or they were louder than them. It was great to see I'm sure gonna miss Kobe

Has to be the most ghetto head shot in nba history. Not a small feat.

lmao

speaking of headshots

there was these headshots of the pacers players and every single one of them were mean mugging...this was during their "we're tough" phase a few years ago. it was pretty hilarious.

Joey Crawford is retiring at the end of the season. Thank god. How this clown was a ref for so long I will never know.

Jarrett Jack out for the season as of yesterday. The Nets are now even worse than before.

Isn't it nice Boston gets their unprotected 1st round pick?

Seriously, given Brooklyn's inability to draft anyone and the fact not many FA's will go there.. They are going to be bad for awhile.

Boston gets to swap picks with them in 2017 and gets their unconditional 2018 pick.

Assuming they Danny Ainge doesn't screw up the picks massively, the Celtics can acquire a lot of good stock and have one hell of a team going by 2020.

This was essentially the trade:
Brooklyn Received:
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Jason Terry
DJ White
Celtics 2017 pick (swap)
Celtics 2017 2nd round conditional pick (based on the swap)

Celtics Received:
Gerald Wallace
Kris Humphries
Marshon Brooks
Kris Joseph
Keith Bogans
2014 pick (James Young)
2016 pick (unprotected)
2017 pick (swap)
2018 pick (unprotected)

So much fail...

But hey, DWill, Johnson, Pierce, Garnett, and Lopez with AK47 and the jet off the bench seemed pretty good on paper.

Yeah, until it wasn't.

I never thought that team would do anything. Pierce and KG were just too far past their prime. And DWill lacks the winners instincts in the NBA.. a change from his college days.

DJ White was the real prize of that trade.
