I disagree with most of this especially the players you listed. Other than Gibson and Hinrich, I would not consider any other player a "Thibs guy". Noah and him went at it a lot, even stating to one another that if they weren't bound together by the same team, they would hate each other. Wennington even stated that Noah was purposely avoiding the Berto Center in the summer so he didn't have to go thru a grueling Thibs workout every day. Gasol is a vet, whom while he respects Thibs, I don't feel he had this burning loyalty to him. Gasol just wants to win 1 more title before he retires. Dunleavy I feel the same way about as I do Gasol. And Snell, really?? C'mon now. Snell was constantly looking over his shoulder anytime he made a mistake last year. You can see on the court that he feels a lot more confident and free now that Thibs is gone.

The struggles are because it's an entirely new offensive system that is a complete 180 from what was run last year. The team played the entire pre-season without their starting PG who is still working himself back into playing shape. Dunleavy, who would destroy teams with his shooting in this offense, hasn't even taken the court yet. This is not a Thibs team by any stretch of the imagination. The skill sets are definitely there you just have to give it time to grow a little. We haven't even played 10 games yet and most everyone is panicking now.

Some how you missed the entire point. It is not about liking each other. This is not middle school. it is about system fit. Noah is most definitely a system for for Tibs more so than any other coach not a system fit now. Snell and Gasol are not system fits. Gibson is not a system fit. Butler is not even a good system fit.

If you want to believe the skill sets are there and this team has players to play in this system go right ahead. I don't think that is true.

sounds to me like a coaching issue....have to stop trying to fit square pegs in a round hole

The same 3 teams as last time are still the only 3 teams with Top 10 numbers in both (Warriors, Cavs, Spurs). The Spurs have fallen to 10th in O-Rating. The Warriors defense has fallen to 6th, though their offense stays leagues better than anyone else in the league.

The Indiana Pacers are on the border ranking 11th in O and 2nd in D. Another surprise is the Hornets and Raptors are both close to that Top 10 mark as well as their offenses rank in the top 10 and their defense is just outside the Top 10.

The Bulls rank 5th in defensive rating, and a pathetic 28th in offensive rating.

Hard to have a good offensive rating with the least efficient starting PG in the league.

PER: 10
TS%: 40
eFG%: 37
WS: -0.2

That's astoundingly bad. Unfathomably bad, really. Usually that player doesn't sniff the court, yet alone play 32 MPG. Glad to see the defense playing the way it has though. So much for people saying we lost our identity.

Nothing worse than Rose quotes. So the double vision isn't an excuse, cool. He just needs to get a rhythm. That's why he's been horrible. All about that rhythm.

What's crazy is, when you take all of this into account: Not scoring inside, Rose being a negative win player, offensive inefficiency, we're somehow 10-5 and have wins over Cleveland, OKC, SA, and Indiana. It's hard to explain, really.
We're the best bad team in the league

The Warriors have slipped in D Rating, while the Spurs have the best combo at #4 offense and #1 defense. The Cavs and Raptors cling tied at 10th and still qualify for this. Surprisingly the Hornets still sit at #7 and #6. The Pacers are 9th in both categories.

The Bulls continue to fall in O-Rating, but improve in D-Rating. This is a weird weird team.

There's no way we're the 2nd best defense in the league. Someone must be lying.

Hornets definitely gonna be champs lol

2nd best defense... with 4 revolving door defenders snatching up the bulk of the minutes.

The Warriors continue to rule offensively but continue to hang around the back end of the Top 10 in D rating.

The Spurs are #3 in O and vastly ahead of everyone in D rating at #1.

The Raptors are barely hanging around in the Top 10 in D rating, but have a Top 5 offense.

The Cavs continue to rank Top 10 in both.

The Hornets and Pacers have fallen off lately canceling them out of qualifying in both categories.

With yesterday's game, the Bulls jumped several offensive rating ranks, but fell a bit in the defensive category.

Since the last update, the Bulls have jumped up to 18th in O-Rating but fallen to 8th in defense.

It would seem as their offense gets better, defense is sacrificed greatly.
