Yeah they are legitimate BCS contenders now, they are just as fast as other top schools and are no longer as undersized as they used to be. They're only other challenge this year will be vs. Oregon State two weeks from now, and if they win that they could very easily run the table and be in the NC game.

i agree they are, but dont show your ass and get out there and say some stupid stuff about challenging the champs because your good one year and feel like you deserve to be in the top. I understand that the whole BSC ranking stuff can be a little unfair, but dont tarnish the one that did win. Sorry Im a Bama fan so I know Im bias, but them calling other schools out cause they didnt earn a chance to play the game pissed me off

That was such a fun game to watch, and I give Boise all the props in the world for proving themselves yet again.
Having said that, I hate that they have been "handed" one of the two spots in the National Title game. Sure, it's mostly the media and fans, but it just feels today like they've been given one of the two spots.
I hope they do run the table, I hope they get in to the big game, and then I hope that the team they play whoops their ass.
After that, one of the BCS conferences (the Big 12 or Pac 10 being the most obvious candidates), needs to step up and invite them in. Let them play a "real" schedule that involves playing teams that are on their level each week.

after pretty much complaining all day about having to endure more Boise wins, I have come to the point where I also hope they run the tables! Then I hope they get crushed thus hopefully forcing a playoff system of some kind in the BCS ...
