The question is, will McLovin ever read react to the offense before they're five yards down field? If Fangio thinks he'll get better, we'll resign him but imo, his instincts say no and we'll be starting two new ILBers next year.

I think we will see one more year of a strong presence in free agency.

The Bears have the cap room, they have the need, and they probably need onepre spend to bridge the gap to Pace having enough of his picks on the team.

Yeah but does he like like him?

Jk, i read to that the coaching staff likes Shea but that's now, during the season. Will that be true when Shea's a free agent? ...when there is no harm in moving on? I'm curious to see the outcome but it wouldn't surprise me if we move on. He's still late in reading/reacting to plays and gets lost in coverage at times. Will another season change that? Is it worth a long term contract if he doesn't develop instincts? It's a tough call and might be easier to just move on and sign someone who already "gets it".
