While the Hawks have rightfully controlled the NHL media landscape recently thanks to their 12-game winning streak, the Lightning have quietly picked up steam as well, winning their last six. Of course any success in Tampa has been overshadowed by the ongoing Jonathan Drouin saga, but that doesn't seem to have much impact of what happens on the ice, does it?

Thirteen is better than twelve.

Bickell is in Rockford, so he won't be playing tonight.

Likely will be Mashinter in for Garbutt. Scuderi is playing wing on the 4th line today in the morning skate and Panik is not at morning skate currently.

My sister is in Tampa today and scored tix to the game tonight.
Jealous.
I haven't been to Tampa since 2011. Got to see Stamkos score a hat trick.

My guess is Tampa breaks the streak and Stamkos nets another hatty.

I hope that is just a place holder for the morning skate and one of the kids at the Rock gets the call if Panik cant go tonight.

I would play Gus at wing. I was musing about the possibility before this, I think his skating and offensive skill look that good. Fucking Panik has to pull this on a day when trade player isn't here yet and we are 1500 miles from Rockford.

Still got 18 Hawks, but I don't have a good feeling. Then the Panthers who will want to stop us at 13 as they were stopped, then the blues who have won 5 of 6.

This is as hard of a 3 in 4 we could face circumstantially.

Not to mention if Panik was the only one out late, and just the only one who couldn't get up. Florida has a lot of nightlife.
