Yeah, sources are good.

I really don't like Howard. That said, I would do that deal. Don't see why the Rockets would essentially trade Howard for Gasol though. Unless we threw in a pick or two.

Not sure either of these trades help us. I'd rather get younger. How are Howard's and Gay's contracts?

Howard has a player option so he'll likely opt out. Gay is signed for 13 mil next season and then has a player option in 2017-2018

Well at least if we got Dwight we wouldn't get destroyed by the pick and roll. Highly doubt we get him.

As for Gay, I could see them making a trade like that. It just scares me cause each time Rudy Gay has been shipped out of town, his past team became significantly better. So I'm not sure it would even be a good thing to trade for him.

Our defense would be so much better with Dwight...

We'd be subject to hack a Dwight and whatnot and he can't hit a shot outside of 3ft, but I'd take it just for fun.

if im the bulls im praying those teams decide to agree to those moves. howard for a rental is worth it since youre only giving up pau and jo who will both be gone at the end of this year anyways. and gay at 13 mil for next year is a pretty good price IMO. him and jimmy on the wings would make a nice tandem. a lineup of rose butler gay niko/portis and howard could challenge Cleveland in the east I think

Without sources, this doesn't mean squat. Nothing but board discussion fodder.

Oh and like Gus said, Fuck Dwight Howard

Nobody, myself included, hasn't stated the obvious: why would a team trade a guy like Howard for an injured Noah?

Used to be you couldn't trade an injured player, but I don't know if that's true anymore.

Maybe if it's an expiring???

yeah, im not sure. from what I saw it seemed like as long as the team taking on the injured player doesn't care then its fine to trade an injured player. seems to me there would be potential "tanking" or what not by allowing it to go on, but rules be rules I reckon

I really do not like Boogie. I think he's a great player and at one point I wanted him on the Bulls but he would be extremely, extremely hard to root for. He's a grown child with a low bball IQ. Unbelievably talented though and I'd say a top 10-15 player overall but it would be annoying following the team and having to watch/listen to his antics.

You can trade an injured player. The other team has to know the injury history and status of that player...not supposed to pull what the sixers did. Then after they go through the physical, if it's failed, I believe the team on the receiving end has the choice at that point again to say no to it.
