I was thinking about the draft today and I was wondering if there were 11 players in the draft that I would be happy with at 11. This way I can feel comfortable being guaranteed a player I like.

My top 11

1. Carson Wentz
2. Jared Goff
3. Laremy Tunsil
4. Joey Bosa
5. Jalen Ramsey
6. DeForest Buckner
7. Myles Jack
8. Ronnie Stanley
9. Jaylon Smith
10. Paxton Lynch
11. Shaq Lawson

Robert Nkemdiche is my wildcard.

The Talent is crazy, but the Bears have not really shown a willingness to draft character concerns.

Sparrow,

Literally everyone you mentioned was signed or drafted pre Fox or Pace. Also, Jeffery didn't have any off the field concerns from what I remember. He gained some weight and some questioned his work ethic, but I think we can dismiss those concerns now.

So I'm hoping for a defensive player.

Deforest Buckner
Jaylon Smith
Myles Jack
Sheldon Rankins
Vernon Hargreaves
Jalen Ramsey
Noah Spence
Joey Bosa

Any of those 8 and I'll be happy.

On offense

Jared Goff
Laremy Tunsil
Ronnie Stanley.

Only 3 I want on offense. And Stanley is iffy

Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Cade McNown, Tank Johnson, David Terrell, Alonzo Spellman, Ray McDonald....the list is pretty endless.

My favorite all-time Bears draft story regarding Texas A&M's Darren Lewis:

Despite his spectacular college career, Lewis' stock fell quickly after he tested positive for cocaine at the NFL scouting combine. He was selected in the sixth round of the 1991 NFL Draft (161st overall pick) by the Chicago Bears. Lewis was the only player to test positive for drugs at the combine, and Chicago general manager Bill Tobin said that he thought a different player had tested positive.

This administration has brought in one off field guy in McDonald.

Jeffery has never had an off field issue.

Didn't include Tunsil or Bosa as I just don't see either lasting and prefer Buckner to Bosa even if he were there. Tunsil on the other hand is a no brainer day 1 LT.

I think there are 8 blue chip players -

1. Laremy Tunsil
2. Myles Jack
3. Jaylon Smith
4. Ronnie Stanley
5. Jalen Ramsey
6. Joey Bosa
7. DeForest Buckner
8. Vernon Hargreaves

That's in no particular order either. I would be ecstatic if we got any of those 8 players. The other 3 wild cards are the QB's. If we like one that's available you have to take them over any of these guys.

My next 3 if we don't like any of the QB's -

9. A'Shawn Robinson
10. Mackensie Alexander
11. Leonard Floyd

5. Stanley
6. Ramsey
7. Smith
8. Jack
9. Buckner
10. Lynch
11. Trade Down. Any of about 8 or 9 guys are fine but wouldn't be thrilled like any in top 10.

Hargreaves is right there too. He had a few bad games toward the end of the season, but he's an elite potential CB. I'd put Elliott just outside that group.

I like this list Bro, but I think I'd swap out Stanley for Robinson. Just not convinced Stanley is a top 11 guy.
