Hey guys,

I think I posted before about being an author, and the admins let it stay here in the Bears Forum for a bit. I've written three novels, three collections, and 100 stories in print, including new work this year alongside Stephen King, Clive Barker, Jack Ketchum, and Neil Gaiman.

I just launched a Kickstarter for a new online magazine, Gamut. It will publish the kind of fiction I edited and published at Dark House Press where I'm Editor-in-Chief, and in the four anthologies I've put out to date: The New Black, Exigencies, Burnt Tongues (with Chuck Palahniuk, author of Fight Club) and The Lineup: 20 Provocative Women Writers.

We've already raised $11,000 in four days, with a goal of $52,000!

If this sounds like something you might dig, head on over and check it out.

THANKS!

Peace,
Richard

Good luck with the new venture, Wicker. I too am a writer. Far less accomplished than you but I keep trying. Only a handful of short stories published in magazines that pay in contributor copies. Who knows, maybe I'll break through and actually get paid for my work.
I will contribute a little as well but I have to wait until payday. You know how it is.
Peace.

Thanks, everyone. Really appreciate it. This happened today, FEATURED PUBLISHING PROJECT. Also, we're going to add some really cool postcards soon, probably Monday, so even if you're not a big reader, those are some wild illustrations.

I love the artwork wicker. Really nice stuff. Congrats on getting it featured, also tagged by the editorial team as a project they love. I bet you get a really nice push the last few days, but looks like it's well on the way to being funded.

We have a long way to go, so if you can chip in that $30 for a subscription or those cool postcards, I'd really appreciate it. OR, you have any writer friends, let them know! Feel free to spread the word. Thanks a lot, guys. If you like authors such as Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Jack Ketchum, China Mieville, William Burroughs, or Chuck Palahniuk—you'll probably dig what we're doing. We just went over $16,000 yesterday.

THANKS!

We're almost at $30,000. Just added some cool handmade "G" for Gamut coasters.
