Well, they got rid of him, moved up in Draft, cleared $5M of Cap space, all good stuff.

And now I'd like to see Bears move up into 2nd Round (using 3rd and 4th Round picks) if some interesting prospect falls down.

A very good tight end. Before the trade, he was maybe the 3rd or 4th best player on the entire team. The rich just got richer. Brady must be very VERY happy:(

Look, marty was an ok TE that couldnt catch a cold,he did nothing that stood out and got completely outplayed by a journeyman TE in Zack Miller.Last year all he did was bitch and complain while dropping eveything that was thrown his way,and when he did catch a pass he would go down immediately.I find it laughable that people would call him a top TE.

Like the move for both teams. Even if it's our 6th round pick (early in round), the difference in picks is going to be about 60 when comps are factored in. You're talking about a potential starter or key backup (Bears got Langford in 4th, Amos in 5th last year) vs. a guy that would be a longshot to make the team (think Fabuluje pick this past year). Really allows for a straight up trade for a TE draft pick in the 4th, or a very manueverable trade up spot.

Good riddancw
Value bettwr than nothing but depends on which 6th we gave up

4th pick in r 6 vs 3rd to last pick in r4 = moving up a round and a half at best

Not sure where top 7 comes up. 15 tight ends had more yards and 20 had more touchdowns last year.
He was a top tight end, now he's a pain in the ass with a gay nickname.
He is also the Patriots problem now. I'd rather have the fourth round pick.

He only played in i think like 11 games last year and he was already on the outs with the players and coaches so you can't compare his stats to the TE's that played full seasons on teams that they were actually wanted on.

A 6'6" target running a sub 4.7 is zero speed? Lol

He made some great plays for Da Bears. NE is gonna be a shoe-in for the AFC Championship game again
