This was a great pick, and a steal in terms of value.

At 6' 230lbs he has the size and ability to break a tackle that is not Langford's strength.

This allows the Bears to use Langford more on 3rd downs, screens and in the pass game.

Jordan Howard converted the highest % of short-yardage runs into 1D/TDs out of the RB draft class.

Hoping for the best! Between Langford, Carey and now Howard one of these guys I hope will rise to the occasion!

We can agree on this, Mick.

Still needs to prove he's better than those guys( I'm big on Carey); but his toughness and running style will resonate well in Chicago.

Here's some his players and coaches talking about him how always gets yards out of nothing, and how they used him to control the end of games and wore down defenses with his bruising running.

I had been wanting a offensive playmaking talent. Hoping he fits the profile. Pace drafted ILB, S, CB, RB after drafting OLB, OG and DE the first three rounds. Lets be real that not all the picks are gonna work out, but I'm optimistic that the team has added more talent that it was lacking before.

The Bears need to get Jordan Howard on Jake Arrieta's pilates workout regimen, because if he ever builds more flexibility into his lower half, look out.

He'll be an excellent short yardage and goal line back. I don't see him taking over for Langford. Means Carey is #3 for depth or maybe even gone. Does that mean Q is gone? A great one-two punch, I think. I like it.

Bears needed a punisher up the middle.
