lol but he was effective, so what's your point?

My point was, the Bears have Marc Mariani on the field when they needed a playmaker, and they were not a winning team.

I thought that was fairly simple.

He's perfect for rub routes, zig routes, and drag routes... The occasional out and up too...

If kept he should make for a very good check down receiver for jay... when teams start to bracket Jeffery and White this guy should be able to find space and make a big play...

I'm not 100% on this but I believe he is the only draft pick to have a Pearl Jam song written for him.

What we've been missing since Johnny Knox went down. Not as fast on the top-end, according to combine numbers, but should still stretch the field.

"Black" is my favorite PJ song of all times....

There are a lot of ways this post could go from here, but I think i've made my point.

Also, Braverman has a chance to be really decent. I could totally see him being a 25-35 catch guy for a few yrs in the league. Then again, I could see him unable to stay healthy because he isn't a short, thick athlete...he is faster than those guys but lighter as well.

I failed, I really thought someone would make the connection.

I assume you're joking, but I see no green text.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/daniel-braverman?id=2556144

Height: 5'10"
Weight: 177
40 Time: 4.47

Draft Projection Rounds 4 or 5

NFL Comparison Brandon Stokley

Bottom Line: Braverman's lack of size will be a concern and he may be limited to working just short and intermediate in the NFL, but his ability to uncover through route savvy and foot quickness combined with his talent after the catch will appeal to teams looking for competitor in the slot. Braverman might feel like a cliche', but it would be unwise to sleep on his potential and he could become a contributor early on.

If he can put on a bit of muscle while staying agile then he may have a shot.

All I can compare him to is Wolfe, and he was shorter and bigger 186.
Wolfe got pounded but showed promise in space, but really excelled as a gunner.
I remember him taking out Desean Jackson on a punt return and he was the last one to get him b4 he was free

....also, if i remember correctly garrett ran a 4.44 and was as quick as anyone.....

Feel terrible for the o-line and QB of western michigan in this vid. Just getting bombarded every single play.

Quick, white, short and Jewish whats not to love.
You have to like his chutzpah!!

Mariani was clutch last year on 3rd downs. What's wrong with a reliable WR who caught everything in big situations?

Whats wrong with Mariani I thought he was ok as a 3rd down slot guy, as a return man he was terrible.
His 5 receptions in the 5 years prior to his break out 22 catch season last year is not that inspiring. As a punt returner he ranked 22nd out of the 25 qualified PR's and to go along with his muffed punt return tendencies.
