If his high water mark is special teams, I'd love to see him as an integral part of the special teams squad. The last few years special teams has performed at a division 3 talent level at best. Would be nice to see some actual talent in the group.

Agreed. He was highly productive in college and that will translate to the pro level IMO. Statistically he had more tackles, tackles for loss, passes defended, and interceptions than Floyd taking their totals the last 3 seasons and they both played against strong talent. I think he'll be a solid and consistent player. I think we really added depth at ILB with this pick.
