Come onnnn down.... we need corner help....

Chris Culliver - DB - Free Agent

Redskins released CB Chris Culliver.

Culliver signed a "four-year, $32 million contract" last March, but tore his ACL and MCL in November. The remaining guarantees in his contract were voided by a Week 2 suspension for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. Culliver was excellent in 2014, and is still only 27. He'll get a second chance, but will have to be healthy first. The Redskins used a third-round pick on Virginia Tech CB Kendall Fuller.

Fact that he's coming off an ACL and MCL tear doesn't sound so promising. They dropped him for 3rd round Fuller.

Didn't Brandon Marshall take him to school on that Monday Night Game?

They also have Josh Norman and his monster deal.

Is it right to assume there are 2 Chris Culliver's and they both played corner back for the Redskins?

He was pretty solid in spot duty and subs for SF, just didn't fit with Washington at all. There are definitely worse things they could do than bring him in.

It was money...Fuller is coming off a microfracture. Culliver will probably get a one year deal somewhere.

He's coming off an ACL and MCL injury, so I doubt Pace would not sign him for more then anything other than a vet minimum 1 year 'prove it' contract.

He’s coming off his second ACL tear in three years, but was only one year removed from a four-year, $32 million contract. Of course, the 2016 guarantees were voided when he was suspended one game for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, making it easier to swallow from a financial standpoint.

One of the top ten receivers beat him out? He must suck!

Culliver has or had personality issues but if the team think he's matured why not. I don't want Bears stories blowing up because Culliver made more comments on how gay people don't belong in the NFL.

He's been cut by two teams in the last 5 years; he must be Hall of Fame material!

Culliver was cut for the first time today...

Culliver does have a history of hating gay people and bicyclists though....

He was traded by the Bears not cut.

Deion Sanders played for 5 teams. Brett Farve played for 4 teams. It doesn't matter.

Well as long as these guys don't live in Chicago, it should be OK.
