Trade the whiny Toews for a first rounder ( ask HW who) and hopefully it works out. Remove the whiner before it becomes contagious.

I was trolling the MMA threads in the Bar.

We don't have a 1st round pick anyway, traded to Winnepeg for Ladd (#22). And the 2nd round pick was traded to the Flyers for Timonen last year.

Lol Like to have both of those back. That 2nd rnder sure made a difference.

If I had to pick a position where the Hawks desperately need some organizational depth, it's at goalie. Then again, I've been saying that for about 3 years now.

Stan seems to have his own pipeline for acquiring goalies without drafting.

German Rubstov from Russia is who I want to draft. A Chi scout asked him where he sees himself fitting in, kid said between Panarin and Kane

Well with the 82nd pick of the draft I'm sure we will find some value...

You never know, though. Where were Datsyuk and Zetterberg picked? Hell, how many teams had multiple chances at the draft to get Panarin?

I'll admit the chances of that are about as slim as us getting a president that won't ruin the country more over the next 4 years (but I say that ever election...so take that with a gran of salt...but I digress). But, we could still get something about as useful as Joachim Nordstrom at that level.

Hjalmarson 4th rnd pick, Shaw 5th rnd pick

There are always late rnd treasures in the NHL.
