If you are going to blow it up, this isn't a bad selection because he is a young, team leader.

Great passer, great vision and has really developed his outside shot. Nice pick.

A guy with knee issues?

Also, Brandon Roy had 7 great years? Last I checked, his knees crapped out after 4 seasons.

Are the knees that big of an issue? He isn't exactly an above the rim player.

Just saw that the Bulls only asked for #5 and Lavine and the Wolves rejected it. Wanted to give us Rubio. Don't know how true that is

So many SFs and so many PFs that can slide into SF, a SG that can play SF. Pax back to old drafting habits?

We need help with the 3, not help at the 3. LOL

I don't remember Roy being an above the rim player and last I remember you need knees to play this game in every facet. So yeah.

Obviously you need your tibiofemoral joint to play basketball. My question was more asking about the severity of the injury. They just said he had it scoped...Players get that done all the time.

Is it me, or do we always drafted older rookies?

*checking*

Denzel Valentine- 22, will be 23 in November a little after the season starts.
James Johnson - 22
Taj Gibson - 24
Jimmy Butler 22
Tony Snell 22
Doug McDermott - 23
----
Portis-20
Teague- 19

That's since Rose was taken. I guess they like guys with experience.

Bulls don't like potential obviously. They would rather build a team full of role players.

Good pick if his knees aren't crap

Btw talk radio hosts in Detroit wanted Pistons to draft him and said their sources said his knee issues are way overblown fwiw.

Now trade butler for lebron and we will be contenders!

The other joke about this, is fucking GarPax aren't worried about his knees in 4 years...lol...he's healthy now..

these scumbags just picked the most ready now player dropping due to medical concerns.

That said, I like the pick. I'm cool with that.

Trade Tony Snell

Our best hope is in Snell/McDermott/Portis/Mirotic all taking steps in their game. Snell is very nearly an elite 3 and D guy, you can see some of the same progressions Butler displayed, with possibly a better outside shot potential.

I called that pick and liked what he did in college. Thibs ruined him. He is just too mentally weak to play in the nba. You have to have a bit of alpha in you and he has none.
