Alshon is worth much more then Allen and there really shouldn't even be a debate about it.
Yeah, his 67 receptions in only 89 targets was incredible. That's getting into Jeremy Langford territory.
No, I was agreeing with you. He was getting like 10 catches per game. Rivers was completing 80% of his throws to Allen, whereas Cutler was lucky to complete 50% of his throws to Langford. Its two different worlds. Put Keenan Allen on the Bears, and he's putting up 2015 Eddie Royal numbers because Cutler is so inaccurate relative to Rivers.
You're right...Phillip Rivers would simply fall apart if he wasn't throwing to Keenan Allen. Last season was the first time Rivers' topped 4000 yards, IIRC.
Who said that? :lookingaround:
You said anyone could match the production of Keenan Allen....which is pretty fucking stupid considering he was on record setting pace last year.
I agree Rivers would still crack 4000 yards without Allen, but it would take multiple players to match Keenan Allen's production.
Can we tag didshe as another prime example of Rory being wrong?

You're amazingly dumb.
What record was Keenan Allen on pace to set...most TDs in a season with 8? Danny Woodhead matched Keenan Allen's production. This is typical CCS, because now I have to take a position where I'm downgrading a player I like. Allen is a good WR. He was 6th on the Chargers in YPC. He's a great fit for the Chargers. But I am guessing the Chargers could replace him. JMO.
Whoa, surprised you had enough time to jump in here. I thought you were too busy composing your opinion post on Buddy Ryan...you spent so much time denigrating everyone else in that thread, I figured you were finally going to add a football-related thought to the discussion.
So he was on pace to set ONE team record."Allen’s 67 catches through eight games were the third most in NFL history, and are even more remarkable considering he missed three quarters due to various injuries over that span. He was on pace for a 143 catch season, which would have shattered LaDainian Tomlinson’s team record of 100 set in 2003. KA13 also ranked third in the league in receiving yards at the time of his injury."

Keenan was a ppr godsend last year in fantasy until his injury. Was on pace for a crazy amount of receptions.
Chargers team receiving record that was held by a running back. That's nice. Good for KA13.
Top Bulls draft pick, Denzel Washington
I have no strong opinion on Keenan Allen but are you implying that the Chargers haven't had great receivers? 143 catch season, if it actually happened, would be pretty impressive for Allen.
It's cool that in the span of one thread you can grow to like a wr you never heard of once realizing that 75% is more than 52%.
