Pretty solid. I'd go Brown, Odell, Julio, DeAndre, then you can almost interchange AJ Green, Demaryius, Marshall, Alshon, Jordy.

Alshon isn't that level yet IMO

I'd take Alshon over Thomas and possibly Nelson. But definitely agree with the rest.

I hope he's healthy this year and gets more of the recognition he deserves.

Im a Saints fan and I cant say much, but I didnt think the Bears franchise was that.

I guess its good to know that you generally have idea what the fuck you are talking about when you post in the bears forum

Its tough to say. We really only have 2013 and 2014 to go off of and Alshon was the #2 WR those years. All of the other guys listed are bonafide #1's. It will be interesting to see the year Alshon turns in as a healthy #1. Hashtag excited.

You can't say much with Brees?

Hell, Archie Manning was really good, but he was stuck on a really crappy team.

I mean we have had great players. Receivers not so much. Joe horn, colston. Not much besides them. I believe Cooks is the next Antonio Brown doe.

Agree that top 5 WR is a crowded spot, its kind of an arbitrary cut-off, but I think even if Jeffery is outside of the top 10 the WRs in today's NFL are so productive that a "top 12 WR" Alshon Jeffery would still have an elite impact. If Jeffery can reproduce his 2013/2014 form in 2016, he will be in good shape.

My top 5 WRs right now are:

1) Antonio Brown
2) Julio Jones
3) DeAndre Hopkins
4) Brandon Marshall
5) Odell Beckham

I think all of those guys are really good, and Hopkins was kind of a revelation last year, but they all put up huge numbers last year as well. I don't know if Jeffery will be able to produce like those guys in a Bears offense with Cutler as his QB.

Antonio Brown has been tearing up the league the last 3 seasons. Teams just can't stop him! The Steelers got big value out of him.

I think AJ can be a top 5. Probably not with Cutler. Probably not as a Bear.

Top 5? No. Top 10? MAYBE. More like top 15-20.

Rory, you still think Marshall will be a top 5 receiver in 2016 at age 32?

Do you even pay attention? Marshall's game has never relied on speed. The only thing that would preclude him from remaining a top 5 receiver would be his health and drop rate.

I'd consider Hackenberg under center a bigger problem then health/age.

Jeffery is all time great Bears receiver? How shitty is yall's history?

Well, he is 8th all time and will most likely be number 2 barring any injuries......

Bears have not had receivers or QBs......

That is correct. Marshall's greatest asset is using his body to clear space for himself as well as having great hands to get above the defender.

You're more than likely absolutely correct on that one.
