We'll sign Jeffrey Jordan to a max contract and Hoiberg will be excited about having Michael Jordan on the team.

He'll be great alongside Brook Lopez and Caron Butler!

They won't have much cap space and they appear to think they are rebuilding on the fly.

They could theoretically offer someone the max I think, but it doesn't matter because GarPax are incompetent and no one ever wants to come here anyway

I think they are at ~67 million, so I don't think they will be able to offer the max, but I am not sure what the cap will be.

I thought I saw somewhere that they'd have like 24M in cap space, maybe more if they used the stretch provision on Calderon or traded someone. If they're not at the max, they're pretty close I'd think.

I think according to these numbers if they were to renounce all rights they'd have enough to offer a max: http://www.spotrac.com/nba/chicago-bulls/cap/

WOW. I did not think the jump wold be that much. maybe they will have enough. That still seems kind of high to me. I was thinking mid 80's.

Well either way the point is they do have a decent amount to spend, even more so if they were to actually move someone else. However, given the FA class and our inability to sign players anyway, we're not going to see much of it.

Rumor came out just after the finals. Next season it's rumored to be 126 million or something like that.

At the least I'd say 89 mil.

the higher the cap is the higher the MAX is because it is based off %. I think rookie scale and league min goes up too.

The CAP will not be 126. I see reports at 92. Reports are usually a little high.
