Will he retire a Bear? Will they do the token dollar contract so he does? I hope so.

It sucked so, so much when circumstances meant he wasn't going to be a Bear last season, and seeing him retire sucks a little bit more. Urlacher was definitely the face of the team during the 2000s but I don't think there's a player I enjoyed more than Peanut. Just seemed like a good dude both on and off the field. And it seemed like the league took notice, making him the Walter Payton Man of the Year one season.

Cheers to one of the best Bears of my lifetime. And also worth bringing up my favorite NFL screenshot of all-time.

Another great bear who retired without a superbowl ring.

I wish him lots of luck in retirement, and hope to see him with a coaching gig some day.

I heard Tillman on an interview about 2 hours after he was drafted. He was funny and self-effacing. I said to myself: "I like this dicklicker".

I remember hearing him on a Bears All Access with Laurence Holmes. They were doing some trivia game, and one of the questions was, 'Who was the 19th president of the United States?' Peanut answered, "I dunno, some old white dude."

My all-time favorite Bear, and he made Larry Wiggum's jersey number proud.

Peanut could be a racist sometimes

One of the all time best defenders on a team known for defense. Great player. Great person. A signature move. Thanks for the memories!

A great player and a class guy. Man of the Year in NFL.

Hats off to you, Peanut. Congrats on a great career!

Bears needs to sign him to a 1 day contract so he can retire as a Bear.
If he wanted to do it, I would hope they do it, but honestly I couldn't give a rats ass about it. I have all the memories of him I need as a player, no pr stunt makes a bit a difference about his legacy as a Bear.
