Anyone know if a team has had 3 or more starters win 15+ games in a season. .

Off hand im sure some had 3 back in the days

Arrieta 12
Lester 12 after tonight
Hendricks 10
Hammel 11
Lackey 8

Hendricks keeps rolling he could get 5 more Ws

Sure sounds like something the braves in the 90's would have had without looking...

Holy shit, is this a serious question?!

For starters, the Orioles once had four 20 game winners.

Three win 15? I'm guessing that's not all that rare. Teams win 90+ every year. Somebody has to be getting the wins.

69 Cubs had 3 of the 4 over 15. Closer had 12 and #4 had 10.

As far as the Cubs go. 89 was pretty much the best staff of the 5 man rotation.

This year I believe we could see Jake and Lester getting 18. Hendricks may get 17. Lackey just feels like a .500 pitcher this year. Hammel is doing really well and bay break 15.

I found 01 Mariners had 4
A couple teams in 80s had 3 or 4
86 mets
Orioles had 3 and 4 in late 6os early 70s

I didn't think 3 was rare but figured 4 might of been at least after the 80s

No, I recall a team with FOUR TWENTY game winners.

The question was THREE FIFTEEN game winners.

As in "Has any team EVER had THREE win 15?"...and a team in last 20 years had FIVE do that.

No, I don't recall a team that had three win 15 in the same way I can't recall all players with 12 or more HR's in a season.

And another reason I wondered if it was a serious question is that I thought everybody knew about the Orioles 4 20-game winners. I forget we have some very young fans here.

I said 3 or more 15 game winners and I said at the end off hand I'm sure there was teams with 3..

But all good...

Just a conversation question /trivia that I thought about while noticing Cubs starters wins total to date.

Edward's reminds me a bit of Marmol when he started

Looked up Marmol hgt n wgt it has him 6 1 235 but I think he was a lot lighter then that when he came up..
Anyone recall

They have Edward's 6 3 175

Wouldn't surprise me if Cubs have him on a program over winter and he shows up to ST around 200

Javy Baez....

I'm trying to think how their going to keep this kid in lineup come playoff...
Only thing I can think of is Bryant playing LF every game..

Then next year, how is he not a regular starter
We might be seeing a more active off season then we think
With all these bats ready to go

Marmol was always bigger. He was never skinny like that. A better comparison is Juan Cruz. To my knowledge, the Cubs have had Edwards on a program since he became a Cub. Some people just cant gain the weight.

All 3 games should be blowout wins

I think it is a 4 game series. The Cubs just swept the Marlins and 8 game winning streaks are not common or easy.

I guess if you predict enough things you can run around and say called it. There is always that.
