One of the underrated reasons you trade for Chapman is this Strop injury. Sure you're probably fine if Strop/Rondon stay healthy and productive but if either guy falters, what do you do then? Hope Edwards is ready for the 8th? Go situational with Wood/Grimm if Edwards isn't there? I mean I like Torres and McKinney as prospects and felt Warren was going to turn a corner here but I also realize that Torres and McKinney are highly redundant players here long term and that getting Chapman upgrades your today team while I don't see a large cost of future team(s).

The way I see this, as soon as Lester is coming out, bam, Contrares pinch hits for Ross, Baez pinch hits for Lester, Baez goes to third, Bryant to left, late innings you have got top to bottom hitters with Soler to hit in the 7th spot for the pitcher late.
