Devin is nothing more than a PR at this point and the Bears don't have space for a old declining PR only at this time. Loved him back in the day, but Paaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssss!

Somewhere away from fucktards.
Vet minimum to return kicks. I'd be o.k with it. Nothing more, though.

It's weird to say this, but Mariani is more valuable to the Bears at this point than Hester is. Obvs Hester is better at punt returns than Mariani even now, but Mariani is a more capable slot receiver/third-down target than Hester. Cutler showed trust in him, which is a big deal. If you could pay Hester just to return, then that's one thing. But if the question is "which guy could I afford to play at receiver if needed and return kicks," both Mariani and Thompson have Hester beat at this point. And given the fact that Eddie Royal can't stay on the field and Jeffery could be a question mark too, you need people that can do both. So there's just no room for Hester here.

What the fu-k is he going to coach??

How to lineup improperly. How to incorrectly run a go route. How to get the coaching staff to blow timeouts because you dont know the play. How to get paid like a
#1WR and promptly become a #4 WR.

Hester might be a better DB than some of the dudes we have... even after this many years of not playing DB lol

if I remember correctly hester never played a regular season snap on defense. would never work I think hester himself would agree.

He definitely played DB in the regular season in his first year.

Regardless, I often tell jokes.... you should get used to that.
