We'll probably destroy them like we do every team we play.

Championship!

If the Cubs won just one game in every series from here on out, they'd win 92 games and the Cardinals would have to go 25-11 in the same stretch just to TIE the division.

Cubs magic number for #1 seed: 29 (71 games)
Cubs magic number for division: 23 (72 games)

To put this in perspective, here is the same info for the Rangers (AL #1)

Rangers magic number for #1 seed: 34 (70 games)
Rangers magic number for division: 28 games (69 games)

You watch Heyward and when he gets a good pitch to hit he either takes it or if he does swing...he fouls it off. Usually goes down easily after that swinging at a bad pitch.

Or when he hits it on the button he can't hit pass the outfielder. Really weird 6'5 240lbs probably has the weakest swing among Cubs position players.

He's a ticking time bomb...

Madden should pull him, even if he gets out of this mess

Probably should've started Travis Wood instead, at least he has some command of the strike zone.

For the second time this year....this piece of crap, Norris is walking right through the Cub's order. Why does everyone pound the shit out of guys like this but the best team in the league finds him to be a big mystery.

Will Lackey be back in time to avoid another Montgomery start?

That K was for all you Josh Reddick fans out there. He's done exactly nothing since they got him....hitting even worse than our guy, Heyward.
