Looking back on Goulds time with the Bears etc:

Robbie Gould’s lofty place in Bears history might never be reached again. Even the most famous Bears kicker of all time, Kevin Butler of 1985 Bears fame, sees it that way.

When Gould was on the verge of breaking Butler’s all-time points record with the Bears last season, Butler showered him with compliments.

Gould was bad the 2nd half of last season.

Gould was bad in camp and the preseason.

Gould was going to be one of the highest paid kickers in the NFL.

The argument about not cutting Gould dealt entirely in "was".

Pace has cut Marshall, Forte, Slassen, Gould and see how much better this team is. Ryan Pace is an idiot

Heard you the first time. You really aren't dumb enough to think keeping an old over the hill, overpaid kicker would be a good move.

Once Barth sucks, and Gould is still sitting at home. Pace will resign Gould for cheap.

That could actually happen but lets hope not cause we don't need Barth missing any field goals.

O'Donnell was tied for 10th on punts inside the 20, tied with McAfee and did it with 15 less attempts.

O'Donnell was in the top half of the league in fewest return yards allowed per attempt.

O'Donnell was top 5 in forcing fair catches.

O'Donnell had the 3rd longest punt in the NFL last year.

LOL Gould is gone and won't be kicking for the Bears, he may get a chance with another team but he's done in Chicago.
