That at bat was Heywards entire reason for getting this big contract. Power to the opposite field gaps, not pulling everything that ends up a grounder to the second baseman. Lets hope he remembers what got him here.

Heyward's value begins with his D. He also gets on base and runs the bases well.

HR's are not at all the reason for his big contract. That's just completely off base.

Granted, the Cubs thought they would get more of them than they have, but anyone who has ever watched Heyward play knows HR's were NOT the reason for the contract.
