If whitehair turns out to be a stud center?

You think he just becomes a depth piece? Or they try him out on the edge?

Do centers ever even make the move to the outside or does that not work?

Maybe a backup interior guy, but he could be as easily gone next spring.

I'd think the backup C and OG. If Sitton went down, I could seen Whitehair at LG, Grassu at C......or if Long went down, Grassu at RG. Although coming off an ACL, he could very well be cut next season.

He's not a strong guy to begin with and he destroyed his knee. Best case is second string OG/C, but I'm not sure he secures that. Too bad - I most definitely was rooting for him.

You find out if Whitehair can also stud at LG and if Grasu can stud at either position then play them accordingly. As far as next year is concerned Grasu would be the backup unless there is an injury or they dealt Sitton.

Whitehair may be our best RT as well. :shot: He's a prototypical C as was discussed when drafted. I certainly thought so. Leave him there.

Reserve. Hopefully we will be better than ted Larsen.

Best case scenario is he hulks over the next two years and takes over left guard at the end of sittons contract.

Nobody on our current roster should be starting at RT.

Grasu is a poor man's Ted Larsen. So obviously Pace will give him a 5 year deal to pair with Massie to form a juggernaut offensive line.

It was better when you had generalized insults about players.

Ted Larsen and Grasu have polar opposite weaknesses.

Would be nice to have a healthy Grasau on the roster and never ever have to use him.

Since he's a center already could he learn to long snap to be more worthy of a roster spot?

They can say whatever they want to right now but Pace drafted Whitehair to be the LG. The plan all along was to have Grasu at Center. I laugh when the organization says they always envisioned Whitehair as a Center.

As far as I'm concerned, he's only a C and there that is not the type of player you want as a backup on the Oline. In fact, most Olinemen are trained in multiple positions on the line. Slauson made the transition to C and Whitehair has done the same but I see no way pencil neck would succeed at OG. He's too small and not strong enough. Add in the serious injury, and he's toast.
