You can't play the "if game".

The Lions could be sitting there going the Bears would be 0-7 "if" Ansah and Levy had played.

It is futile, you are what your record says you are.

Just look at the Vikings to see how far off we are. They've had REALLY good drafts the last several years and they are just now becoming legit. With some good drafts, we are 3 years away probably...

We are just one pass-rushing, lockdown coverage, franchise QB away from the Superbowl.

I think we are stuck with one more year of Fox.
We have 2-5 years left of Pace.
1-3 years to find our future QB.
4 years to rebuild with new coaches after Pace.
2 years to be actually good.

In 9-11 years I think we can be a respectable franchise again. Thats where we are at.

Fingers crossed we can hit on more than 1 first rounder in that decade. Or it will keep pushing us back.

Only Harbaugh, Gruden or a select few guys could save us and be a free agent pull at this point. Why would anybody come here?

Thats where we are at...again.

The bad P.Emery drafts really are hurting us now. If he could of hit on some of his picks we'd be better off now. He made 20 picks in his drafts and the only players still with us from those drafts are:

2012 draft--6 picks---A.Jeffery

2013 draft--6 picks--K.Long, CornWash, M.Wilson

2014 draft--8 picks--K.Fuller, K.Carey, P.O'Donnell, C.Leno

A.Jeffery, K.Long, C.Leno were all great picks and the only reason why i'm saying the C.Leno pick was great was because we got him with a 7th round pick.

P.O'Donnell is our starter but he's not all that great.

CornWash and K.Carey are good backups

M.Wilson aka IR Wilson is always hurt.

So out of 20 picks we have 4 starters 2 backups and IR Wilson.

they have a QB

He was Sam Badford, Sam Assford, and Sam Glassford not that long ago.

He's doing what he's supposed to do now and to go a step futher, has stepped his game to a higher level than he ever before(Dare I say he's elite this year), but let's not pretend the Vikings had a crystal ball. They would have been fine with him playing as "well" as Teddy Bridgewater was and Bridewater hadn't really shown anything more than being a capable game manager.
