After its first three games were against some of the league's powerhouse teams, the Hawks continue the regression to the mean this weekend beginning with a road tilt in Columbus against Brandon Saad and the Blue Jackets. Early reports have TVR slotting back into the lineup with Brian Campbell getting the aerial view from the press box. That shouldn't matter all that much, as outside of the aforementioned Saad, there's not a lot of firepower in the CBJ lineup, unless Sam Gagner does what Sam Gagner does against the Hawks.

Looks like TVR is done for awhile. Did not come back after sliding into the net with BJ on top of him. Left ice holding his right forearm and in pain.

For those that don't know, Motte scored again though.

Forearm sounds like TVR should be back by the trade deadline. You know what might be more value than a trade?

Not losing Kruger. Perhaps we SHOULD let Vegas pick between TVR and Kruger and hope they pick wrong.

With Rozy around, and Gus in the farm, we can trade TVR. Pokka developing, Svedberg available for PK and spot duty, plus a bunch of Swedes ready at a moments notice. We are fine.

TVR needs to use this time to get his legs right, get in peak condition, and come back the player we know he can be.

Whether used or traded he needs to get his shit together to be of any value to the Hawks right now.

The penalty kill is soooooo bad!!

With Crow, Kruger, Hammer, Toews, Hossa healthy that seems impossible but frightening. Hossa missed this game, and Hammer the first, but the PK has been unreal bad.

also, Keith and Hammer have been on the ice for an awful lot of goals. I don't know what their plus minus is right now but I would guess they are losing.
