I haven't noticed one.

When making maranira/spaghetti/pizza sauce add a pinch of baking soda at the end. This helps neutralize the acid so you don't get hearburn.

Always salt water before boiling pasta or vegetables. I do it by feel but for any dicktards who think salt ruins it can Google the proper ratio.

I'll definitely have to try that one. I hate the tangy acidic part of spaghetti.

What about using trad-er sauce with fried fish?

A pinch of sugar also works and adds a depth of flavor that baking soda will not. Just cuts down on the the level of tardness, I mean tartness.

I've heard about that (sugar) but it didn't seem to help much.

Clemenza uses sugar in his gravysauce.

OK, I'll try sugar again. I'll add a bit of wine too if I have any around at the time.

If your sauce has a good depth of flavors sugar is not necessary. I usually start my sauces sautéing carrot, onion and celery which adds some sweetness.

Freeze your raw veggie and meat scraps to make stock. Roasting them in oven before simmering in water gives even more flavor.

Cinnamon serves the same purpose and gives it a very nice aroma.

She went to jail for lying to the FBI. It's a crime unless your name is Clinton.

I take back what I said.

Here's Martha's 50 top kitchen tips.

Yep, no real tips, just her selling things. Never thought I'd say this, but I miss when she used to tell people to decorate the holiday ham with dandelions and make bowls out of ice for serving desert.
