He's pissed because I told him not to be so confident in a young staff remaining healthy when he was pounding his chest after last year's nlcs, and it turned out to be true this year. So now I'm a troll.

I know you are not talking to me but I surely take no solace in just putting up a fight. When you don't win it all, you are just losers. Being the best team in the league record wise and losing would be abysmal and a HUGE letdown. All those meaningless regular season stats are well, meaningless, when your team does not win it all. Those stats are for people who sit there with their little propeller hats on saying "wow, we're good." The ONLY thing that matters are championships - period. I hope God has become a Cubs fan and lets a miracle happen.

Ok so they say we have great pitching Lester earned his pay, Arieta wants that pay day so tonight we see if he commands that kind of pay day the hitting is the hitting good pitching always wins you just have to scratch a couple of runs in the playoffs to have a chance getting shut out gives you no chance. So as a 49 year cub fan I have seen this movie over and over its kind of like the Matrix each time its different and when will it end in victory. If Jake pitches his best game of the year it goes to 7. However if he wants to be considered an Ace the opportunity lies before him.

Yeah it would be disappointing. I know i was there at this time last year. I had double the heartache as the night the mets lost my wifes father died unexpectedly. Talk about a tough night. My point is losing the world series isnt the end of the world and with the team you guys have built i highly doubt you guys arent going back for another 70 years. This team is built to win for the next 5 years. Good luck tonight as id love to see the cubs comeback and win it. Itd be absolutely epic.

Post now here, so we all know who you are. Yeah, I get it, insanely high chance the Cubs are done and get to year 109 without a title, but what better way to end the drought than to do what has been done to them so many times before. Cubs may lose, but until the series is over and Cleveland is celebrating, I ain't conceding shit.

The Cubs are too arrogant to go to the opposite field even when the pitch is conducive to that. Their goal is to pull everything which leads to weak grounders and strike outs. I think their hitting coach might be the problem

I know, like me, you are an old guy!! But when it comes to baseball, you don't have a clue.

Yup. And you wont either. Harvey is great thanks for asking. He`ll be back next year and problably shutting you guys out game 1 of the nlds after you guys get by the wc game. Troll

God, it must suck to be continually wrong.

You mean going out, fighting tooth and nail to claw back into, and eventually win, the world series? Yeah, I did take comfort in that. They could've just rolled over and died in Game 5 like the Mets did, and watch the opposing team celebrate on their home field.

At 3-1, I said "This isn't over".

I posted on my brother's Facebook page Blutarsky saying "Nothing is over until WE say it is!".

I predicted we'd beat Kluber.

Game 6 worried me a little more than Game 7, but that was so quickly put to rest, it was awesome.

I felt like I do watching the Hawks - they're never done.. They don't quit.

Wow! What a team!!

Lol! Now we`ve got tough talk after the fact. Happy for chicago and the cubs as it was a great series and comeback. You still remain a pathetic troll so nothing has changed.

After the fact? I created a thread that pointed out how I still believed they could win. I'm not the one that looks like an idiot by proclaiming the series to be over prior to it being over.
