From one long-suffering fan base to another even longer-suffering fan base--Great win!! From one city that had been in the media for all the wrong reasons to another enjoy your moment. We were pulling for the Cubs. Greatest game 7 ever 
Both teams always seemed to find new and interesting ways to shoot themselves in the foot, You guys had Bartman, and in 2004 the Saints were 9-4 and needed to won one of their last 3 to make the playoffs. Just one win against 3 teams who were all well below .500. Of course, we lost all 3 and backed right out of the playoffs.
There is a Saints commercial from 2005 which shows sports fans from many different teams in an emergency room. The buzzer would go off and one by one all fans are called back and start cheering --Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Ravens, etc. Finally there are only 2 fans left, a Saints fan and a Cubs fan seated side by side. The buzzer goes off and the 2 stare at each other--wondering...
