Come nurse that Cubs hangover! After an 0-2 start, the Hawks have won six of eight and grabbed another point in a shootout loss to rocket themselves into a first-place tie with the Minnesota Wild atop the Central Division. It's only 10 games into the season, of course, but it's always better to be looking down from the top of the mountain. Oh, hey, and the PK has been perfect in their last two outings!

Man last year Anisimov made so many plays or screens and net presence plays leading to goals he got no points on. He's rocking one impressive league leading points record currently.

Blackhawks are capitalizing on their chances and Crawford is looking great right now. Definitely a nice little string of games, even if they were outplayed at times throughout them. Really like the play of Motte and wouldn't surprise me one bit if he gets a chance at 1lw again. I really like what Panik is bringing every game but I am just not a fan of his skill set on that top line with Toews/Kane.

Crow had the force field up last night and our PK has finally turned it around.... should be even better when Desjardins returns to the lineup.

In the next month we will be the top dog in the Western Conference.

Usually it's not until December that the Hawks get rolling like this. Nice to see them piling up points early, while a few other alleged conference powers have struggled -- Nashville, in particular.
