Final: Maryland 84, Illinois 59

Pathetic showing.

This guy sucks ballz as a HC. No change in staff to help him with game time coaching deficiencies in 5 years either. The definition of insanity. Keep doing what you're doing and expecting different results.

:yep:

Fire the loser now, I'm usually against in season terminations but he is just BAD.
If you fire the loser now, all those LOI signings likely unrecruit themselves. The only way to keep them on board in your scenario is to fire Groce and promote Walker to HC, but then he's gone anyway. I want Groce gone, too, but wait until season is over, fire him and replace later in the same day. That way, if new guy wants to keep Walker, they can, but new coach has time to sell the recruits on his program.

Hopefully Groce finally figured out that Lucas needs the tick, not Tate.

Groce has to be gone at the end of the season. I would fire him immediately after the final loss, which starts the clock on that two week waiting period to announce a coach hiring of one who just got knocked out of the NCAA.
