Calgary is riding a two-game winning streak heading into this one, a rare flash of success in a season that hasn't had much. But that fire may be extinguished (get it?) after it was revealed that Johnny Gaudreau is out for a while following surgery to repair a broken finger. With him out of the lineup, the top two scorers on Calgary are ... Michael Frolik and Troy Brouwer!?! It's true. Sounds like a good time to get one back in the W column.

I am disappoint with Nick Schmaltz....

He has not played great hockey.... and I know he needs to catch up to the NHL level, no gripes with him there.

But I feel like his effort is lacking at times.... he appears disinterested alot....

I was very underwhelmed with him early in the season.... but last few weeks or so he has really stepped up into the top 4 role IMO
