After a late Hossa GWG helped the Hawks steal a few points in Calgary, they head a bit farther west on a short night of rest to face the Vancouver Canucks. Remember when these were games you'd circle on the calendar? not so much anymore. Outside of the Sedins and Burrows, the Vancouver roster looks nothing like the team the Hawks used to tussle with at every meeting. Still, two points are there for the taking, and the Hawks would be wise to bank all the points they can in the West while many of the other alleged contenders are still sputtering out of the starting blocks.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!

The nucks had an odd start to the season winning so many OT games where they didn't lead ever in the games.

Then they settled into the crumbshow it looked like they would be. Good for them though their draft spot looks to help them kick off some youth they need.

It's still nice to beat them though, just because of their fans and those douches in the blue suits.

What will be really be fun in Vancouver is next season, especially around the trade deadline. The Sedin contracts expire in the summer of 2018. Assuming that the 'Nucks are still terrible and decide to see what they can get for the wonder twins, would they 1) accept a trade and 2) allow themselves to be traded to different teams?

My prediction is Stamkos is hurt again and Yzerman pulls off a cap crunch Kane like move to add them both for Drouin or something like that.

Motte, Hinostroza and Roszival are all playing tonight, but no word yet on who's sitting in their places.

Also Darling in net after Crawford played last night.

 Sounds like another "Q blender" situation.

Considering the refs called a weak af interference on Kruger, they sure are letting the Canucks get away with alot of that kinda stuff.

Impressive comeback by the boys.

Reminds me of the 5-goal comeback against the Flames in the 2009-10 season, though that win was even more impressive.
