Obviously more of our focus tonight will probably be on the Hawks/Sabres tilt, but during commercials or the intermission, you may want to flip over to the NHL Network where the USA and Canada will renew their rivalry in the Gold Medal Game of the World Juniors tonight at 7:00.

I don't believe there are any Hawks connections to this game, but it still tends to be a chippy affair, especially when gold is on the line.

World Juniors may be the only place where I love the shootout. Mostly because it is 5 rounds and you can let the same player go over and over again after the 5. Some great moments have come from the shootout because of it. That OT was amazing though.
